Two giant sculptures by Yoshitomo Nara are now in place on Park Avenue! These fiberglass and steel sculptures, each 12 feet tall and together known as White Ghost, were just installed less than a month ago. It took a crane and a big crew working most of the day. The works now stand on the Park Avenue median near the entrances to Asia Society (at 70th St.) and Park Avenue Armory (at 67th). If your in the area definitely stop down to check these out! The exhibition with Asia Society Museum will be up from September 2010 till January 2011. more info available here
